World-famous ceramicist Jorge Quintana is known for his intricate and elegant Mata Ortiz pottery. This style was founded by Juan Quezada Celado and re-creates the centuries-old pottery. Quintana is a complete master of the process, from digging the clay to creating the jar to the final firing and painting of the finished work. Join us for artist demonstrations and daily pottery firings (weather permitting). Pottery and vibrant Zapotec rugs will be available for purchase.
Pottery firings at 11 AM and 2 PM each day.
