Discover weird and wonderful desert-friendly plants from local vendors at Tohono Chul’s annual Monsoon Madness summer plant sale! Over 20 specialty growers of the weirdest and wildest varieties will be showcasing their bizarre, boutique botanicals this year under the shade of our Sonoran Seasons Garden’s ramadas. Meet the growers of these specimens and learn about the evolutionary advantages conferred by even the strangest of features: from dense, curlicue spines on certain cacti, to little translucent “windows” in a variety of succulents.
