The 5 C's that Arizona's economy have historically relied on are cattle, copper, citrus, cotton, and climate. Here in Pima County, we are feeling the harsh economic impacts of the lack of investment in a 6th C: Children. With all of the national attention that is currently focused on our child care crisis, it's clear that this isn't just a family issue, it's everyone's issue. Arizona works when child care works and businesses can play a key role in shaping a stronger, more resilient workforce that benefits everyone.
