The Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the formation of its Women in Leadership (WIL) committee, a new initiative designed to celebrate and support women leaders, business owners, and professionals in our community. To mark the launch, the Chamber will host its first event, a breakfast and panel discussion, Women in Leadership: Breaking Barriers. Silver Chamber member Splendido at Rancho Vistoso serves as the presenting sponsor, with additional support from Chamber member Posh Petals.
This exclusive gathering will feature a dynamic panel of accomplished women sharing their experiences, insights, and strategies for success. Panelists include:
- Carol Stewart, Vice President of the University of Arizona, CEO of Tech Parks Arizona, and President of the UA Center for Innovation, who will also moderate the discussion.
- Kara Riley, Oro Valley Chief of Police.
- Jennifer Mendryzcki, President & CEO of TMC Health.
- Batoun Herrington, President of Branel Real Estate
- Nicole Carey, Operations Quality Sub-Network Lead, Roche
- Jenny Valenzuela, Quality Functional Partner, Roche
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand about the challenges and triumphs of leadership, explore strategies for professional growth, and connect with other leaders and aspiring leaders. The morning will include breakfast, an engaging panel discussion from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by 30 minutes of networking.

About Women in Leadership (WIL): The Oro Valley Chamber's Women in Leadership (WIL) initiative is a dedicated group supporting and celebrating women leaders, business owners, and professionals in Oro Valley and the surrounding region. The group focuses on professional development, mentorship, and fostering a strong network of women in leadership roles.
The WIL committee is comprised of Chamber members and chaired by Renee McCuistion of America First Credit Union. The Oro Valley Chamber provides resources, connections, and support to power this initiative.
