  • About

Green Fields is Arizona’s first independent day school, founded in 1933. Our progressive, intellectually challenging program utilizes research-based methods to stimulate and promote higher-level thinking.

Our philosophy of educational excellence, small class sizes, unique enrichment opportunities and exceptional teachers encourages students to think independently and develop personally — from kindergarten through 12th grade. Green Fields takes education to an exciting new level — where students are encouraged to think differently, critically and responsibly, where they have the opportunity to participate in experiential and project-based learning beyond the classroom.
