Life Beyond the Books

About Us

Life Beyond the Books is a Non-Profit Organization focused on providing life skills education to middle school students.
Our Vision: All students are sef-sufficient and ready for life.
Our Mission: To prepare students for life through teaching the life skills needed to run a home and prepare for a career.
The program is based on community professionals volunteering their time to teach classes. For example, a chef teaches cooking, paramedic firefighters teach first aid, bankers and financial planners teach basic budgeting, etc.
