About Us

We have dedicated ourselves to the Make-A-Wish mission, granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Together, we create life-changing wishes for Arizona children with critical illnesses.

Make-A-Wish Arizona was founded in 1980 to grant wishes for children battling critical illnesses. Since that time, Make-A-Wish has expanded to be a national and international phenomenon; however, Make-A-Wish Arizona continues to make a difference in our state, with all Arizona dollars going toward granting more than 340 Arizona wishes each year.

Funded specifically through donors, both individual and corporate, and grants, Make-A-Wish Arizona relies on people like you to help make wishes come true.

Children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 years old (at time of referral) who have been determined by a medical physician to have a critical illness are eligible to receive a wish. For more information, go to http://arizona.wish.org/refer-a-child
